Elder Christofferson taught the missionaries from D&C 6:9: Say nothing but repentance...  keep my commandments, and assist to bring forth my work, according to my commandments, and you shall be blessed.  What is repentance? Turning to Christ 

Turning to Christ with a change of heart, not just stopping the things that are wrong.

Sister Christofferson taught about the woman whose two sons were being taken by a creditor and who went to Elisha and asked for help. Elijah asked, "what shall I do for you? What do you have in your house?" The woman stated she only had one vessel of oil.  Elisha instructed her to go and borrow empty pots, not a few,  from your neighbors, bring them inside,shut the door, and poor her oil into pots until they were full. Her one vessel  of oil filled all of the pots until there were no pots to fill.  Elijah instructed her to sell  the oil and pay the debt. 

Sister Christofferson noted that Elijah did not tell the woman how many vessels to borrow, she could have stopped gathering at any time.  God is mindful of us, He will bless us with what we are prepared to receive.  The question to ask is, "How am I preparing? What do I want to receive?"

Sister's Activity

While the Brethren were in meetings, I arranged for us to batik our own cloth, visit the National Mosque and go to lunch in Accra

 Quinoa Salad with sautéed shrimps,  dry fruits, strawberry, arugula, walnuts, cherry honey dressing.

We also attended the dedicaton of the Global Education Center in Lagos, Nigeria

It was Valentines Day at the Lagos Marriot Hotel
